Job summary

Tyson Foods is hiring for production positions at our processing facility in the United States. Pay starts at $17.05 per hour on the 1st shift, with an additional $2.00 per hour differential on the 2nd shift. Benefits begin on the first day.

The 2nd shift schedule is typically 4 PM to 1 AM, with overtime and occasional weekend/holiday work as needed. Applicants must meet physical requirements, be able to lift heavy loads, and wear PPE.

Job Details

Pay is $17.05 per hour for 1st shift and for 2nd shift there is an additional $2.00 per hour shift differential. Benefits start day of hire. REHIRES ARE SUBJECT TO A 1 YEAR WAIT PERIOD. 365 days wait period from last termination date. CANDIDATES THAT HAVE WORKED FOR TYSON FOODS OR TYSON AFFILIATES 3 OR MORE TIMES WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR REHIRE. 3X rule (candidates cannot have worked for Tyson 3X before). Schedule for 2nd shift is Approx: 4 PM to 1 AM depending on department. MUST be willing to work overtime, some weekends and holidays as Production requires. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Job Requirements

These positions could work in any department of the processing facility. Some positions require the ability to push, pull, carry, or lift 50+ pounds. Jobs are fast paced and require repetitive motion. Must be able to work in damp cold or damp hot environments, use of hands and arms above shoulder level and be able to stand 8 to 10 hours a day. Must be able to climb up and down stairs to get to and from the work areas. Must wear PPE, ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair net and beard guard.
