Job summary

Avery Dennison Corporation is seeking a Finishing Operator for the 3rd shift (Mon-Fri, 10PM-6AM) at our Georgia site. The role involves packing, core cutting, and material handling, operating slitter equipment, and assisting in maintenance and continuous improvement activities to support quality and productivity.

Required is a High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) with 3+ years in manufacturing; strong computer skills and safety mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) or 3+ years of relevant manufacturing work experience.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Inspect general appearance of finished product
• Pack and handle materials
• Operate a slitter and related finishing equipment
• Prepare cores for machine operators
• Perform duties to improve quality and productivity
• Maintain 5S duties and audits
• Assist in equipment maintenance activities as directed
• Track multiple orders being packed and shipped
• Move material between raw, WIP, finishing, shipping and receiving areas
• Document material movements in Inventory Management System
• Support inventory accuracy with cycle counts and reconciliations
