Job summary

Avery Dennison Corporation is seeking a Finishing operator for the 2nd shift (4PM-12AM) to handle packaging slit rolls, operate packaging lines, and support core preparation. You will follow Exact program packing requirements, rotate as needed, and contribute to throughput and quality metrics.

Responsibilities include labeling, packing, and inspecting finished goods, maintaining safe work areas, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet customer specs and schedules.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED or 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Safety-focused: model safe practices and policies.
• Team-based environment with clear communication.
• Willing to work overtime, including short-notice requests.
• Able to operate computers and basic software.
• Must have Lift Truck Operator’s License.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Sort, label and package finished goods per customer specifications and standards.
• Inspect appearance of finished product and ensure quality compliance.
• Maintain supply of packaging materials and prepare cores for operators.
• Coordinate information with shift/department staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Track orders and verify materials per order; run orders per specs.
• Perform setup and changeovers on packaging lines; capture operating data.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and participate in 5S activities.
• Assist in equipment maintenance and participate in continuous improvement.
