Job summary

Avery Dennison Corporation is seeking a Finishing Operator to perform packaging of slit rolls, operate packaging lines, and prepare cores for downstream processes. This role is on the 3rd shift (10 PM–6 AM) with a $20/hour base plus a $2/hour shift differential, and requires adherence to safety and quality standards.

Primary duties include labeling, packaging finished goods per spec, inspecting quality, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED, or 3+ years of relevant manufacturing work experience.
• Must follow written and oral instructions and safety policies.
• Strong service and quality focus; identify root causes and educate team.
• Able to contribute in a team-based environment and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Sort, label, and package finished goods per customer specs and quality requirements.
• Inspect general appearance of finished product and keep area stocked with materials.
• Prepare cores for machine operators and communicate necessary information to shift teams.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and participate in 5S audits.
• Assist in equipment maintenance and support continuous improvement activities.
