Job summary

Loyola Medicine, a part of Trinity Health, seeks a specialist to achieve in-depth knowledge of the 340B Program and provide expert direction to staff and management. Based in Chicago’s western suburbs, you’ll help ensure compliance and effective purchasing practices across our 340B operations.

Responsibilities include maintaining policies, developing risk controls, conducting audits, and guiding system improvements to prevent duplicate discounts and diversion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or applicable work experience required.
• Preferred: Bachelor's in business, pharmacy or purchasing.
• 3-5 years of previous job-related experience required.
• 6-10 years of previous job-related experience preferred.
• 5 years of pharmaceutical purchasing, wholesaler and vendor experience preferred.
• 3 years of 340B program experience including use of various vendor software programs/portals.
• Completion of 340B University program certificate of achievement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains up-to-date policies and procedures on 340B purchasing processes.
• Develops systems and processes to limit program liabilities.
• Provides proper audits to identify risk and prevent duplicate discounts and diversion.
• Routinely reviews 340B compliance program policies and procedures.
• Offers contributions and changes to ensure 340B compliance.
