Job summary

Loyola Medicine, a member of Trinity Health, is seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage the 340B program within a leading Chicago-area academic health system. This role supports staff, ensures compliance, and helps optimize purchasing practices across our three-hospital network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or applicable work experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in business, pharmacy or purchasing preferred.
• 3-5 years of related experience required; 6-10 years preferred.
• 5 years of pharmaceutical purchasing, wholesaler and vendor experience.
• 3 years of 340B program experience with vendor software/portals.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician; CPhT preferred.
• 340B University program certificate of achievement strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve in-depth knowledge of the 340B Program and provide expert direction to staff and management.
• Maintain up-to-date policies and procedures on 340B purchasing processes.
• Develop systems to limit program liabilities and improve compliance.
• Audit to identify risk and prevent duplicate discounts and diversion.
• Routinely review 340B compliance program policies and procedures.
• Contribute and implement changes to ensure 340B compliance.

Education

Bachelor's degree or applicable work experience

3-5 years of previous job related experience

6-10 years of previous job-related experience preferred

5 years of pharmaceutical purchasing, wholesaler and vendor experience

3 years of 340B program experience including use of various vendor software programs / portals

Pay Range: $53,144 to $82,368

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
