Job summary

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is seeking a Pharmacy Operations position focused on the 340B program, purchasing and inventory management, and contract pharmacy reconciliation.

The role supports policy adherence, data analysis, and continuous quality improvement across the department. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years in pharmacy operations, 340B experience, and an Illinois Pharmacy Technician license, with proficiency in Excel and pharmacy systems.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree preferred in a healthcare/administration/related field.
3+ years in pharmacy operations with 1+ year 340B and Medicaid experience.
Strong analytical and reporting abilities to drive improvements.
Active Illinois Registered Pharmacy Technician license required.

Responsibilities

Coordinates day-to-day and long-term purchasing, PO prep, orders, invoicing, and shortages.
Performs reconciliation of dispensing, purchasing, and billing records for 340B compliance.
Reviews eligibility system used at contract pharmacies.
Identifies 340B compliance issues and guides process improvements.
Maintains training and supports staff on 340B practices.
