Job summary

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily work schedules of warehouse employees handling shipping, receiving, loading and palletizing.
• Determines space requirements and schedules delivery to meet distribution objectives.
• Maintains equipment and a safe environment, enforcing safety rules and hazardous materials handling.
• Monitors attendance and productivity, providing counseling as needed.
• Coordinates with warehouse, operations, and sales supervisors on shipments and cut-off times.
• Maintains records and reports such as lost sales, errors, and production.
• Suggests procedural changes to improve unit efficiency.
