Qualifications

• 1–3 years of work experience in a warehouse or distribution center.
• Experience with material handling, inventory tracking, and directing other teammates.
• Associate degree or equivalent experience required; bilingual preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily work schedules of warehouse employees involved in shipping, receiving, loading/unloading, stacking, picking and palletizing.
• Determines space requirements for storage and schedules delivery and distribution to meet customer requirements.
• Ensures maintenance of equipment and company vehicles, enforces safety rules and proper handling of hazardous materials.
• Monitors attendance, productivity and performance; provides counseling as required.
• Coordinates with warehouse/operations manager and other supervisors to meet cut-off times and handle shortages.
• Maintains records and reports (lost sales, error reports, production reports).
• Recommends procedural changes to improve efficiency.
