Qualifications

• 5+ years TIG and MIG welding experience in a job shop or custom fabrication environment.
• 5+ years reading complex blueprints and interpreting weld symbols.
• Reliable attendance with punctuality and teamwork.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and operate cranes/forklifts.
• US citizen or Green Card holder within commuting distance of West Bend/Jackson, WI.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-precision TIG and MIG welds on custom fabrications for OEM parts.
• Interpret detailed blueprints and weld symbols to ensure fit-up and part accuracy.
• Set up welding machines, adjust parameters, and verify weld quality to ISO standards.
• Layout, fit-up, and assembly of sheet metal and structural components prior to welding.
• Use cranes and forklifts to move weldments safely around the shop floor.
• Collaborate with fabricators and leads to optimize production runs.
