Qualifications

• 5+ years TIG and MIG welding experience in a job shop or custom metal fabrication environment.
• 5+ years reading complex blueprints and weld symbols.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality with a stable work history.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Career longevity with previous employers.
• US citizen or green card holder within daily driving radius of West Bend/Jackson, WI.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision TIG and MIG welds on custom fabrications and prototypes for medical, printing, and packaging applications.
• Interpret detailed engineering blueprints and weld symbols to ensure part accuracy.
• Set up welding machines, adjust parameters to ISO 9001:2015 standards.
• Layout and fit complex sheet metal and structural components prior to welding.
• Safely use cranes and forklifts to move large weldments around the shop floor.
• Collaborate with fabricators and leads to optimize custom job runs.
