Job summary

The Keystone Distinction Group is hiring a Custom Metal Fabricator & TIG Welder for a 2nd shift in West Bend/Jackson, WI. The role features a 4x10 schedule (Mon-Thur, 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM) and a competitive up-to-$28.00/hr wage plus profit sharing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years TIG & MIG welding depth in a job shop or custom fabrication environment.
• Advanced blueprint literacy and ability to read weld symbols.
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and dependable work history.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate cranes/forklifts.
• Employment stability with multi-year tenures and local commuting requirement to West Bend/Jackson, WI.

Responsibilities

• Perform Precision Welding: TIG and MIG welds on custom fabrications and prototypes for medical, printing, and packaging applications.
• Interpret Complex Engineering Blueprints: Read and apply complex prints and weld symbols for accurate fit-up.
• Dial In Equipment Parameters: Set up and tune welding machines, gas mixes, amperage, and heat to ISO 9001:2015 standards.
• Layout & Fit-Up Assemblies: Measure, position, align, and fit components prior to final welding.
• Material Handling & Rigging: Use cranes and forklifts to move large weldments on the shop floor.
• Collaborate & Optimize: Work with a team to resolve design challenges and optimize runs.
