Qualifications

• 5+ years TIG and MIG welding experience in a job shop or custom fabrication environment.
• 5+ years reading complex blueprints and interpreting weld symbols.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate cranes/forklifts.
• US citizen or Green Card holder within daily driving radius of West Bend/Jackson, WI.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality TIG and MIG welds on custom fabrications for medical, packaging, and printing sectors.
• Interpret engineered blueprints and weld symbols to ensure accurate fit-up.
• Set up and dial in welding machine parameters to meet ISO 9001:2015 standards.
• Layout and fit-up sheet metal and structural components prior to welding.
• Move and position weldments using cranes/forklifts for safe handling.
• Collaborate with team to optimize custom job runs.
