6 Degrees Search seeks a seasoned Custom Metal Fabricator & TIG Welder for a 2nd shift in West Bend/Jackson, WI. This role features a 4x10 schedule (Mon-Thur, 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM) with profit sharing and strong job security in a debt-free ISO 9001:2015 facility.

You will weld with TIG/MIG on OEM parts for medical, packaging, and printing sectors, reading complex blueprints, and handling layout and rigging tasks. Local commute required; US work authorized candidates preferred.

Qualifications

5+ years TIG and MIG welding experience in a job shop or custom fabrication setting.
5+ years reading complex blueprints and weld symbols.
Consistent attendance and punctuality with a strong work history.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate cranes/forklifts.
Proven career stability and multi-year tenure with prior employers.
US citizen or Green Card holder residing within commuting radius.

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality TIG and MIG welds on medical, packaging, and printing components.
Interpret engineering blueprints and weld symbols for accurate fit-up.
Dial in welding parameters to meet ISO 9001:2015 standards.
Layout and fit-up assemblies of sheet metal and structural parts.
Move weldments using overhead cranes and forklifts safely.
Collaborate with fabricators to optimize job runs.
