Markent Personnel seeks an experienced Custom Metal Fabricator & TIG Welder for a 4x10 second-shift role in West Bend, WI. The candidate will perform high-precision TIG and MIG welding on OEM parts for medical, packaging, and printing sectors.

The position requires 5+ years in TIG/MIG welding, strong blueprint literacy, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate cranes/forklifts. Competitive pay with profit sharing and a 3-day weekend cadence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years TIG and MIG fabrication depth in a job shop or custom metal fabrication environment.
• 5+ years reading complex blueprints and interpreting structural weld symbols.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality with a strong team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Track record of employment stability and multi-year tenures.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality TIG and MIG welds on custom fabrications and prototypes for medical, printing, and packaging applications.
• Interpret detailed engineering blueprints and weld symbols to ensure part accuracy and fit-up.
• Set up and adjust welding machines, gas mixtures, amperage, and heat parameters to ISO 9001:2015 standards.
• Layout and fit-up assemblies, measure and align components prior to final welding.
• Safely handle materials and position weldments using cranes and forklifts.
• Collaborate with team leads to optimize custom job runs and resolve design challenges.
