You will check and sort yarn, rewind yarn on Gilbos and Backwinder, wind packages onto tubes, and perform light housekeeping while following standard operating procedures. Candidates should be reliable, safety‑minded, and able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Check and sort all return yarn from Tufting
• Rewind yarn on Gilbos and Backwinder
• Place empty tube on winder
• Wind packages, sent from winder assistant, onto tube
• Doff full packages and place in yarn box for Tufting
• Fan off winder
• Aspirate all skinners ½ inches or less
• Inspect, sort, and dispose of damaged tubes
• Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision
• Follow all established standard operating procedures
• Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary
• Perform other tasks assigned by management
