Job summary

Woodward Inc. is seeking a Repair & Overhaul Technician I at the Loves Park Campus. The role supports teardown, assembly and testing of servo valves, actuators, and related components on the AWS 2nd shift (weekends, 3:00pm - 3:30am). Training shifts run first shift Mon-Fri for two weeks.

The position emphasizes a safety-focused, detail-oriented mindset with opportunities for growth, training, and development within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to teardown/assemble/test products.
• Ability to follow SOPs and basic technical instructions.
• Effective communication within a team and readiness to follow safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Teardown, assembly and test product following documented procedures.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define work scope and analyze product needs.
• Conduct inspections and tests to verify accuracy and document results.
• Maintain 5S at workstation and follow safety protocols.
• Support training and improvement of standard work.
