Job summary

Woodward Inc. is seeking a Repair & Overhaul Technician I/II at our Loves Park, IL facility. The role involves teardown, assembly, and testing of servo valves, actuators, and related components on a 2nd shift schedule (Mon-Fri, 2:30pm–11:00pm).

First-week training runs 7am–3:30pm, with flexibility for up to 3 months to adjust training. Strong mechanical aptitude and teamwork are essential. Candidates should be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment with a safety-first mindset, quality

Qualifications

• Understanding and following basic technical instructions and SOPs.
• Ability to tear down, assemble and test products.
• Follows safety protocols and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Teardown, assembly and test product using documented procedures.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define work scope.
• Conduct inspections and tests to verify functionality and record data.
• Maintain 5S workplace organization and cleanliness.
• Support safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
