Job summary

RTX is seeking a motivated Senior Electrical Engineer for a 3rd shift role in Andover, MA, to support Metrology & Test Equipment Maintenance. You will diagnose complex test stations, isolate faults across RF, digital, and power platforms, and maintain uptime on the factory floor.

Requires a STEM degree, 5+ years of experience, and ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. Includes a 12% shift premium and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• 3+ years of test equipment design or troubleshooting experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Perform system-level debugging on test fixtures and automated test stations.
• Trace hardware faults to the component level across RF, digital, and power platforms.
• Ensure test station uptime on the manufacturing floor.
• Maintain fault logs and repair documentation to improve uptime.
• Work with minimal supervision.
• Coach and influence technicians on troubleshooting best practices.
• Interpret schematic drawings to aid troubleshooting.
• Design moderate improvements to test equipment to enhance performance and uptime.
