Job summary

Stonhard is seeking a Production Supervisor to support the Director of Operations and Manager of Manufacturing on the 2nd shift. You will lead direct labor, provide hands-on support, and uphold quality and safety in line with EHS policies.

The role emphasizes safety, SOP adherence, daily performance updates, and staff development, including onboarding and regular reviews. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' direct experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
• Batch processing experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Enforces safety regulations and policies, investigates incidents, and champions Safety 1st engagement.
• Maintains facilities neat, clean, and orderly; completes Daily Housekeeping Checklists each shift.
• Maintains uniform expectations; ensures attendance policy and approves timecards.
• Ensures SOPs and Work Instructions are followed and updated; analyzes deviations with corrective actions.
• Updates Daily Management Boards; communicates plant performance; plans daily work based on priorities.
• Develops, trains, educates, coaches employees; completes on-boarding and reviews; ensures training records are current.
• Participates in Continuous Improvement Initiatives and understands OEE to drive improvements.
