Job summary

Stonhard is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri 2:00 pm–10:30 pm) to support the Director of Operations and Manufacturing Manager. You will lead direct labor, uphold safety policies, and drive continuous improvement in a chemical manufacturing setting.

The role emphasizes quality assurance, training, performance reviews, and maintaining training records while coordinating daily plant activities and communicating production status across teams.

Qualifications

• HS diploma required.
• 3-5 years' direct experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
• Batch processing experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Excel and PowerPoint.
• Previous experience with ERP systems; BAAN LN preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts (fractions, percentages, ratios) and solve practical problems.

Responsibilities

• Enforces safety regulations and policies; investigates incidents; participates in Safety committees.
• Maintains clean and orderly facilities; completes daily housekeeping checklists.
• Manages attendance; approves timecards daily.
• Ensures SOPs and work instructions are followed and updated; ensures proper paperwork and corrective actions.
