Job summary

Stonhard is seeking a Production Supervisor to support the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM) under the direction of Operations leadership. The role focuses on safety, quality, and adherence to EHS policies while guiding direct labor teams and enforcing standard procedures.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in chemical manufacturing, solid MS Office skills, and BAAN LN ERP familiarity; strong communication and math problem-solving abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• HS diploma required.
• 3-5 years' direct experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
• Batch processing experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Previous experience with ERP BAAN LN.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts (fractions, percentages, ratios) and solve practical problems.

Responsibilities

• Enforces safety regulations, investigates incidents, and participates in Safety training.
• Maintains clean, orderly facilities and verifies housekeeping checklists each shift.
• Ensures attendance policy compliance and approves timecards daily.
• Follows SOPs and Work Instructions; ensures paperwork is completed and deviations are analyzed with corrective actions.
• Updates Daily Management Boards and plans daily work based on priorities; escalates issues as needed.
• Trains and coaches employees; completes on-boarding and performance reviews; maintains training records.
• Participates in Continuous Improvement initiatives and drives OEE improvements.
