Job summary

Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc. is seeking a Plant Supervisor for the second shift (Mon-Fri, 3pm-11pm) to direct production and distribution operations, manage personnel, monitor performance, and uphold safety standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating production, distribution, warehousing, and shipping per Plant Manager guidelines; ensuring OSHA/EPA compliance; overseeing shift housekeeping; and maintaining positive employee relations and policy adherence.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree with two (2) years related supervisory experience in the wood treating or lumber industry.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production, distribution, warehousing, and shipping of products per Plant Manager guidance.
• Ensure employee safety and compliance with OSHA/EPA regulations.
• Oversee housekeeping of plant facilities and equipment during shift operations.
• Maintain positive employee relations and compliance with employment policies.
