Job summary

Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc. is seeking a Plant Supervisor for the second shift (Mon-Fri, 3pm-11pm) to direct production and distribution operations, manage personnel, monitor performance, and uphold safety standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating production, distribution, warehousing, and shipping per Plant Manager guidelines; ensuring OSHA/EPA compliance; overseeing shift housekeeping; and maintaining positive employee relations and policy adherence.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree with two (2) years related supervisory experience in the wood treating or lumber industry.

Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc., makers of Yellawood brand Pressure Treated Pine, is seeking a Plant Supervisor for their second shift (M-F, 3p-11p). This position will direct production and distribution operations for a plant shift, including managing production personnel, production performance, and employee safety. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and a full benefits package.

• Coordinates production, distribution, warehousing, and shipping of products per company policies, principles, and procedures established by the Plant Manager.
• Ensures employee safety and compliance with governing regulatory agencies, including OSHA and EPA.
• Oversees housekeeping of plant facilities and equipment during shift operations.
• Maintains positive employee relations and compliance with employment policies and regulations.

Education and/or Experience:

• Associate's degree with two (2) years related supervisory experience and/or training in the wood treating or lumber industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
