Job summary

Pratt & Whitney Middletown, CT is seeking a Production Machinist for the 2nd shift (typically 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM). You will set up and operate machine tools to produce precision turbine engine parts, following drawings and procedures.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least 6 months of machining experience, with opportunities to learn and grow in a supportive environment. Training on first or second shift may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months of machining experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a machine tool or process equipment to produce precision turbine engine parts.
• Read operation sheets and drawings; use milling, boring, grinding, turning, broaching, and shaping machines as required.
• Perform bench, assembly, and surface finishing operations including deburring, blending, and fitting.
• Inspect parts using measuring instruments and document results; maintain equipment and follow safety procedures.
