Job summary

Green Bay Packaging is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to lead and develop a manufacturing team, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity. You will coach daily, analyze performance, and drive continuous improvement in cutting, finishing, and forming.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, lean practices, and effective communication. A strong technical background and the ability to work M–F 1:30pm–10:30pm are valued.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Strong technical and mechanical understanding.
• Proven ability to lead, influence, and develop teams.
• Lean manufacturing experience.
• Excellent communication skills and computer proficiency.
• Willing to work the 2nd shift: M‑F 1:30pm–10:30pm.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations for cutting, finishing, and forming departments.
• Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Assess skill levels and identify development opportunities.
• Influence and motivate personnel to meet and exceed expectations.
• Oversee safe and efficient department operations.
• Solve production and process issues independently.
• Analyze performance data to identify trends and improvements.
• Lead monthly department meetings focusing on quality, productivity, process improvements, and safety.
• Enforce safe work practices and daily safety discussions.
• Provide quality direction and ensure standards compliance.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational discipline.
