Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations on the poultry production floor. You will ensure targets are met while upholding safety, quality, and efficiency, coordinating team duties, monitoring workflow, and enforcing health and safety regulations.

This role requires responding to real-time operational issues and supporting a productive, compliant workplace with leadership over 20+ team members.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/GED; College Degree in related field preferred.
• Experience: 1+ years supervisory experience; 20+ employees preferred; Poultry or food industry a plus.
• Skills: Effective communication, written and oral; independent decision making; basic computer knowledge; ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and create a positive work environment to reach quality and productivity.
• Organize manpower, materials, equipment, and schedules for efficiency.
• Oversee employee performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Encourage open communication and team involvement to build morale and values.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify quality improvements and cost savings.
• Ensure safety standards are followed and promote a safe workplace.
• Take on additional responsibilities to support Plant Operations Team.
