Job summary

Ditsch USA in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to lead daily operations, coach a team of about 25 employees, and ensure safe, efficient, high-quality production in a fast-paced bakery. You will promote a safety culture, ensure GMPs and food safety, investigate issues with root-cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement with cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing production teams.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working cross-functionally with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Safety teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead and promote a strong safety culture across the production floor.
• Ensure compliance with food safety requirements, GMPs, quality standards, and company policies.
• Coach, develop, and support production employees while holding teams accountable.
• Monitor performance and identify ways to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize downtime.
• Investigate production, quality, and safety issues using root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Partner with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, Supply Chain, Sales, and Safety teams.
• Maintain staffing, training, resources, procedures, and production documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
