Job summary

Ditsch USA in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to lead daily operations and a team of 25+ employees. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficiency in a fast-paced bakery environment.

You will coach staff, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement while collaborating with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Safety teams to maintain high food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing production teams.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working cross-functionally with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Safety teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead approximately 25+ production employees while ensuring safe, efficient operations.
• Promote a strong safety culture on the production floor.
• Coach and develop production staff and hold teams accountable.
• Monitor performance and drive improvements to reduce waste and downtime.
• Investigate issues using root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, Supply Chain, Sales, and Safety teams.
• Maintain staffing, training, resources, and production documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
