Ditsch USA in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to lead daily operations and a team of 25+ employees. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficiency in a fast-paced bakery environment.

You will coach staff, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement while collaborating with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Safety teams to maintain high food safety standards.

We're seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to lead daily operations in Cincinnati, OH. We currently have two openings available — one at our Kemper facility and one at our Northland Blvd. facility.

What You’ll Do

As a Production Supervisor, you'll lead approximately 25 + production employees while ensuring safe, efficient, high-quality operations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead and promote a strong safety culture across the production floor
• Ensure compliance with food safety requirements, GMPs, quality standards, and company policies
• Coach, develop, and support production employees while holding teams accountable
• Monitor performance and identify ways to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize downtime
• Investigate production, quality, and safety issues using root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Partner with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, Supply Chain, Sales, and Safety teams
• Maintain staffing, training, resources, procedures, and production documentation
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost

What We’re Looking For

Required Experience

• Manufacturing leadership or supervisory experience
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing production teams
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working cross-functionally with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Safety teams
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing
• Food, beverage, bakery, or consumer packaged goods manufacturing experience
• Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, OSHA regulations, and food safety programs
• Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
