Job summary

Riviana Foods Inc. in Colusa, CA is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to lead blending, packaging and processing lines, ensuring safety, quality and productivity targets.

The role partners with the 1st Shift Supervisor and Plant Manager to manage daily production, schedule work, coach staff, and implement continuous improvements while maintaining compliance with GMP, HACCP and GFCO requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in a production environment with leadership responsibilities.
• Knowledge of GMP and HACCP principles, safety standards.
• Ability to read SOPs and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production needs and scheduling with the 1st Shift Supervisor.
• Supervise 2nd shift production and personnel.
• Foster a food safety and quality mindset within the team.
• Ensure work is performed per schedules; manage peak demand as needed.
• Lead continuous improvements for facilities and processes.
• Support safety meetings and training topics with HR and management.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance with Maintenance Dept.
• Participate in staffing, coaching, and performance reviews.
• Assist in budget, cost control and planning for the department.
• Collaborate with managers and Techs to achieve department goals.
• Knowledge of allergen control and GFCO requirements.
