Job summary

Ventura Foods in Saginaw, TX is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift to oversee the workflow on the plant floor, drive OEE, and meet production goals while upholding quality, safety, and cost objectives.

The supervisor coaches and develops staff, manages escalation and problem solving, and acts as a liaison between area teams and upper management to ensure smooth, continuous operation each shift. This onsite role includes training, benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years as frontline supervisor in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in food manufacturing facilities and knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, and sanitation.
• Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee workflow on the production floor and drive OEE efficiencies.
• Monitor quality and safety, ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Coach and develop employees, conduct performance feedback and reviews.
• Plan, organize, and delegate work to meet schedules and optimize manpower/equipment.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and report shift handover information.
• Coordinate with production manager and QA to address issues promptly.
