Job summary

True North Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead the 2nd shift on the production floor in Cudahy, WI. You will guide a team to hit production targets while upholding safety and quality standards, and you’ll coach staff to improve yields and performance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field with at least 2 years of experience and a proven ability to train and lead others in a fast-paced environment. Weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience acting as a lead by providing training, coaching or mentoring to staff.
• Food or beverage manufacturing background is a plus; logistics or warehouse experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections on the production floor to identify unsafe conditions and take corrective action.
• Lead safety audits, champion ergonomic initiatives, and ensure HACCP and USDA compliance.
• Maintain product quality by enforcing Food Safety and Food Quality plans, train employees on safe operating procedures (including lock-out/tag-out), and ensure tasks follow specifications.
• Track and analyze production yields, efficiencies, and variances; collaborate with Operations Managers to improve workflows and equipment use, minimizing downtime and costs.
• Direct and guide hourly production employees to align on safety, quality, and production goals.
• Lead monthly line meetings and walk the production floor daily.
• Analyze key product performance metrics, identify improvement areas, and propose changes to enhance efficiency and keep high quality.
