Job summary

Software Placement Group is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift at our Wisconsin facility in Cudahy. You will lead the production team, ensure safety, quality, and efficiency, and coordinate with Operations for continuous improvements.

The role requires a BS in Business or related field with 2+ years' leadership experience; strong communication and problem-solving skills; willingness to work long hours and weekends; on-site with a competitive compensation and bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, plus 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading and training staff on processes.
• Strong written and spoken communication for problem-solving and coaching.
• Ability to motivate teams and foster a positive, productive environment.
• Willingness to work long hours, including weekends, in a fast-paced plant.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections on the production floor to identify unsafe conditions and take immediate corrective action as needed
• Lead safety audits, champion ergonomic initiatives, and ensure HACCP and USDA compliance
• Maintain product quality by training on safe operating procedures and ensuring tasks meet specifications
• Track yields, efficiencies, and variances, collaborating with managers to improve workflows and reduce downtime
• Direct hourly staff to align safety, quality, and production goals
• Lead monthly line meetings and walk the floor daily
• Analyze key product metrics and propose changes to boost efficiency and quality
