Home Chef is hiring a Production Lead for the 2nd shift (3:30 PM–12:30 AM) with Mondays and Tuesdays off. The role leads a line of associates through portioning, meal bagging, and shipping, training staff and ensuring adherence to SOPs and GMP on the production floor.

You will coordinate with the supervisor for daily targets, manage line pace, and maintain strict quality, waste reduction, and inventory controls across the shift.

Qualifications

• General high school degree, or equivalent (e.g. GED).
• Strong attendance and performance record as a Home Chef production associate is required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Guide and train production associates on portioning, meal bagging, and shipping.
• Set up lines according to SOPs and daily production plan.
• Communicate targets and monitor pace to meet production goals.
• Coordinate with warehouse to avoid downtime and ensure materials.
• Enforce GMP and food safety policies on the floor.
• Ensure accuracy of counts and inventory per SOP; FIFO.
