Job summary

Home Chef in Bedford Park, IL is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift (4:00pm–12:30am) with Mondays and Tuesdays off. You will lead a team of hourly production leads and operators, ensure the production plan is executed, and drive safety, quality, and efficiency across all lines.

You will coordinate with the Shift Manager, manage SOP adherence, track production metrics, and work with packaging and shipping teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with Excel or Google Sheets, ERP systems, and mobile technology.
• Open availability to work weekend shifts; able to lift up to 49 pounds.
• General high school degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Execute the production plan and supervise hourly leads, production associates, machine leads and operators.
• Oversee portioning, meal bagging, shipping, and inventory tracking; coach and develop leads.
• Ensure safety, quality, and adherence to SOPs; manage investigations of issues and perform end-of-shift reporting.
