Job summary

Home Chef in Baltimore is seeking a Production Lead to guide a line of production associates during portioning, meal bagging, and shipping. You will start before production and set up stations according to the daily plan and supervisor targets.

You will train and supervise team members, monitor waste, enforce GMP and safety policies, and ensure SOPs and inventory procedures are followed. No travel is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong attendance and reliable performance required.
• Experience supervising production teams is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guide production associates on portioning, meal bagging, and shipping.
• Set up tables and lines according to SOPs and production plan.
• Communicate targets and expected rates per hour to the team.
• Enforce GMP and food safety policies and escalate issues.
• Coordinate with supervisor and warehouse to avoid downtime and shortages.
• Track output counts and follow inventory procedures.
• Ensure labeling, packaging, and line readiness at shift start.
