Voltava is hiring a Production Coordinator/Junior Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift. This hands-on leadership role supports daily manufacturing operations, station readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; manufacturing experience preferred.
• 3+ years of manufacturing/production experience.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Automotive or high-volume manufacturing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of PFMEA and quality processes.
• Experience with standardized work and process documentation.
• Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to coach, train, and motivate production employees.
• Ability to work in fast-paced production environments.

Responsibilities

• Support daily production operations and launches.
• Complete station readiness and process validation activities.
• Support pilot builds and engineering changes.
• Train Team Leaders and Team Members using TWI principles.
• Track employee development through the Versatility Matrix.
• Conduct process verification and station audits.
• Maintain standardized work and manufacturing documentation.
• Support PFMEA/RPFMEA activities.
• Maintain 5S and autonomous maintenance standards.
• Support line balancing and production flow improvements.
• Participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement activities.
• Support ergonomic and safety reviews.
• Identify and resolve production issues through root-cause analysis.
• Partner with Engineering and Quality on process improvements.
