Home Chef is seeking a Second Shift Supervisor to manage production lines from 4:00pm to 12:30am in Bedford Park, IL. You will supervise hourly leads and operators, ensure SOP compliance, coordinate with warehouse and quality teams, and drive on-time output.

This role emphasizes safety, coaching, and performance reviews, with hands-on troubleshooting of equipment and active collaboration with the Shift Manager to execute the production plan. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Cross-functional experience in multiple departments.
• Track record of driving KPIs and improving metrics.
• Experience developing team members through coaching and feedback.
• Proficient with Excel/Google Sheets and ERP systems.
• Open availability to work weekends.
• Able to lift up to 49 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach production leads and associates to meet targets.
• Oversee setup, portioning, bagging, and line operations to ensure quality.
• Maintain safety and GMP practices across the shift.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and maintain production tracking tools.
• Collaborate with QA, warehouse, and procurement to resolve issues.
• Participate in hiring, performance reviews, and coaching.
