Job summary

Home Chef is seeking an Operations & Warehouse Supervisor for the 2nd shift in Bedford Park, IL. Role runs 3:30 PM–12:30 AM with Tuesdays off, overseeing the warehouse and operations team to ensure safe, efficient execution of tasks. You will anticipate issues, support leads, and coordinate with stakeholders to maintain production flow.

The supervisor will manage drop-zone layout, ensure accurate WMS usage, and drive continuous improvement while upholding GMP/SQF standards and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of warehouse leadership experience.
• Experience supervising 5–10 employees preferred.
• Ability to use handheld data logging equipment and WMS.
• Familiarity with safety standards and GMP/SQF programs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise warehouse and ops staff on the 2nd shift.
• Ensure tasks are completed safely and in compliance with procedures.
• Coordinate with Production to resolve issues impacting efficiency.
• Lead performance reviews and coaching for leads and associates.
• Ensure proper training and use of WMS, and oversee shift handoffs.
