Job summary

RRD is seeking a shift supervisor in St. Charles, IL to oversee manufacturing operations on the 2nd shift. You will direct employees, ensure quality and safety, and coordinate with other departments to meet production goals.

The role requires 2+ years in manufacturing, strong communication, and solid organizational skills. Proficiency with MS Office and related tools is expected. This on-site position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years in a manufacturing/operations environment.
• Proficient with MS Office, MAC word processing, and spreadsheets.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and guidance to employees and audit work processes and products to ensure production specifications are met.
• Direct employees to the appropriate manager for policy questions.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and procedures; report problems to management.
• Inspect products and shipments to verify conformance to specifications.
• Review and approve machine set ups, production samples, and shipments as needed.
• Coordinate or perform training for new employees and contract workers to ensure safety and quality.
