Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC is seeking a production supervisor for poultry debone and slaughter operations in Danville, AR. The role requires supervising a team, ensuring product quality, and maintaining strict safety and USDA-compliant processes.

You will coach the production team, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement while coordinating with QA and maintenance to meet schedules and budget targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 4+ years in a similar manufacturing environment or Associate Degree with 2+ years in manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline preferred with 5+ years in food manufacturing.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to build effective teams and communicate at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and assist Production Supervisors with supervising and training employees.
• Manage production processes and employee performance with feedback.
• Promote safety throughout the work area and ensure compliance with safety programs.
• Ensure timely reporting and data accuracy for operations.
• Coach and train employees and drive professional development.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to maintain USDA-compliant environments.
• Set procedures to meet production schedules, efficiencies, and budgets.
• Maximize yields and throughput while minimizing downtime and turnover.
• Plan and implement process improvements and cost-reduction efforts.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, SSOPs, and GMPs; oversee continuous improvement.
