Job summary

Wayne Farms in Alabama seeks a Production Supervisor to manage poultry debone and slaughter processing, ensuring procedures meet customer specs, productivity targets, and cost efficiency.

You will lead a team through supervisors and spend time on coaching, safety, training, and scheduling, while enforcing HACCP, SSOPs and GMPs and driving continuous improvement to maximize yields and minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 4+ years in a similar manufacturing environment or an Associates with 2+ years.
• Minimum 2 years leadership/supervisory experience of 20+ people.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred for higher levels in production leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production supervisors and train employees for quality and productivity.
• Manage production process, performance, safety, scheduling and budgets.
• Promote safety and ensure food safety programs (HACCP, SSOPs, GMPs).
• Plan procedures to meet schedules, efficiencies and cost objectives.
• Maximize yields and throughput while minimizing downtime and turnover.
