Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms in Danville, AR seeks a Production Supervisor on 2nd shift to manage all aspects of poultry debone and slaughter processing, ensuring cost-efficiency and adherence to customer specs. Leads a team via supervisors, focusing on safety, quality, and productivity within USDA guidelines.

The role requires 4+ years in a manufacturing environment with leadership responsibilities and strong knowledge of food safety standards.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent with at least 4 years’ supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
Associates Degree in a relevant discipline with 2 years’ supervisory experience in manufacturing.
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited institution (preferred).
Minimum 2 years leadership over 20+ employees.
Working knowledge of poultry processing, food safety regulations, OSHA guidelines, GMPs and HACCP.
Proficient English language skills (oral and written).

Responsibilities

Oversee and assist Production Supervisors with training employees for quality and productivity.
Manage production process and employee performance with feedback.
Promote safety throughout the assigned work area.
Ensure timely completion of reporting requirements.
Coach and develop staff through ongoing feedback.
Work with Quality Assurance to ensure USDA-compliant food safety.
Establish procedures meeting schedules, efficiencies, and budgets.
Maximize yields and throughput while minimizing downtime and turnover.
