Job summary

Wayne Farms is seeking a seasoned Production Supervisor to direct and coordinate all plant operations on the 2nd shift (3:30 pm – 2:00 am). You will lead a team of production employees, enforce food safety programs (HACCP, GMPs) and ensure productivity and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities include coaching, safety meetings, scheduling, performance feedback, and maintaining USDA specifications. Candidates need strong leadership, English proficiency, and experience in large-scale poultry

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 8+ years in a similar manufacturing environment, or an Associate's degree with 6+ years in manufacturing.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership/supervisory experience managing 200+ people.
• Proficient English language skills (oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned shift’s production operations.
• Develop good working relationships and maintain high morale while performing administrative duties.
• Lead production objectives and ensure they are met.
• Foster clear communication to meet timelines and tasks.
• Train employees and hold monthly safety meetings and discussions.
• Handle employee grievances.
• Oversee production staff and ensure quality and productivity goals.
• Manage production processes and provide performance feedback.
• Ensure safety in the work area.
• Ensure timely reporting.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance for food safety and USDA compliance.
• Adjust procedures to meet schedules, efficiency, and budgets.
• Plan and implement process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, SSOPs, GMPs.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce costs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
