Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. is seeking a Supervisor for 2nd shift at Plant 4 Ti-Ingot in Whitehall, MI. The role directs the manufacturing team to meet quality, safety, and production targets on a tight schedule.

You will plan staffing, coach performance, and ensure adherence to company policies and EHS rules. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of leadership experience, is able to manage unions, and can drive continuous improvement across processes and teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3 years leadership experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Direct and motivate the manufacturing workforce to produce high quality products efficiently and safely.
• Plan and manage staffing, vacations, overtime, and leaves; conduct performance appraisals.
• Provide training and mentoring to new supervisors; ensure EHS rules are understood.
• Schedule production and work teams; review reports to prevent delays and control costs.
• Maintain compliance with union contract and company policies; handle grievances when needed.
• Lead continuous improvement, 6S program, and ABS initiatives across the operation.
