Job summary

L’Oréal Dermatological Beauty, Somerset, NJ, is seeking a Production Supervisor for 2nd shift to lead a team of 8–15 packaging operators and execute daily production plans. You will drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent manufacturing experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field and/or 5 years’ manufacturing supervision experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to interact at all levels.
• Ability to make autonomous decisions without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement continuous improvement projects to optimize operations and reduce losses.
• Coordinate autonomous maintenance routines and ensure TPM/5S adherence.
• Conduct root cause analyses and lead investigations with teams.
• Oversee daily production, shift decisions, and KPI performance.
• Recruit and coach talent, develop team through training and performance reviews.
