L’Oréal Dermatological Beauty in Somerset, NJ is seeking a Packaging Line Mechanic I for the 2:45 PM–10:55 PM shift. You will maintain and repair packaging machinery, lead TPM initiatives, and drive improvements while ensuring safety and quality standards.

The role requires 1+ year of electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, ability to read diagrams, and flexibility for overtime. Competitive benefits and a path for growth are offered in a climate-controlled facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting (education plus experience, including military technical training).
• Read and interpret mechanical diagrams and electrical schematics.
• Read and understand basic motor controls and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment on assigned lines.
• Interpret electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams; use troubleshooting tools.
• Maintain and improve equipment; perform preventative maintenance.
• Lead line improvements and TPM initiatives.
• Train others and coach on TPM and safety practices.
• Communicate status and plan actions with shifts and teams.
