L’Oréal Dermatological Beauty in Somerset, NJ is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift to lead a team of 8–15 packaging operators and ensure daily production goals are met while upholding GMP, safety and quality standards.

You will drive continuous improvement, lead autonomous maintenance, analyze root causes, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize material flow and labor planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or 5 years manufacturing supervision experience.
• Strong PC skills including spreadsheets, pivot tables, and presentations.
• Excellent interpersonal and cross-level communication abilities.
• Ability to make autonomous decisions and manage shifting priorities.
• Ability to lift, bend and walk extensively.
• US work authorization is required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and lead continuous improvement projects to eliminate losses and improve operations.
• Lead Autonomous Maintenance implementation and routines.
• Perform root cause analyses and drive corrective actions.
• Ensure GMP, 5S, TPM, SMED and line optimization standards are met.
• Coordinate labor planning and manage daily production and shift decisions.
• Recruit and develop team members, set goals, and review performance.
• Oversee inventory management, material flow, and labor records.
• Communicate clear information across shifts and departments.
