Job summary

L’Oréal Dermatological Beauty in Somerset, NJ is seeking a Material Handler I to support warehouse operations on the 2nd shift (2:00PM - 10:10PM). You will load, unload and stage materials using powered equipment, maintain a clean work area and ensure accurate shipments in a regulated environment.

The role requires forklift experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and compliance with cGMP/OTC/SOPs. Training will cover XP requirements for Packaging, Pre-Weigh and Warehouse areas.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year warehouse experience with RR and RC forklift operation.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Hazardous waste collection and safety training requirements.
• Stand-up forklift experience.
• Experience lifting objects to the 5th level.
• Good driving record and RF scanner experience.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to bend, twist, stand for whole shift.
• Able to read, count, do basic math and write clearly.
• Follow directions and meet safety requirements.
• Meet daily movement goals.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stack and stage product using RR/RC forklift or similar powered equipment.
• Maintain equipment and materials in neat, clean, orderly condition.
• Operate pallet wrapping machine and other equipment per OHSA standards.
• Ensure inbound/outbound shipments are accurate and report variances.
• Follow cGMP, OTC and SOP procedures.
• Prepare materials for shipment by strapping/wrapping and securing bolt rings; perform partial picks as needed.
